Hi all!

I never really watched the temps of my build before I started oc'ing my cpu last week.
My cpu temperatures seem fine but I'm worried about my GTX 580.

During games it would get upto 88 degrees celcius and low 90's using OCCT.
I've never overclocked the card so it's completely stock.

I clean my case every 2 months and I also check all my fans for functionality.

Are these temperatures dangerous or should i stop worrying?

For stock volt/clock, it's kind of high.

What is your ambient temp?
How is your case ventilated?
What about your cable management (a pic would help)?

With a 22/23°C ambient, stock volt/clock and no custom fan profile, you should be in the high 60's, low 70's°C when on full load.

try running your computer with the side panel off to see if it's an air flow problem, if that doesn't help it may be a poor factory heatsink mount.

Thanks for the replies.

Got some help on a different forum.

I've decided to order an Arctic Accelero Xtreme II and I'll install it tomorrow.

Hope I'll get nice results!
