(screen replacement question: )
I need a new laptop.
What I want is pretty simple: something decent with both a dedicated GPU and a touchscreen (it doesn't need to have a swiveling mechanism).
My price point is < $1000.
For some reason nobody seems to make a computer like this right now.
A friend suggested that I consider trying to replace the screen on a a non-touchscreen laptop.
Does this sound like a viable idea? If so, does anybody have tips on this?
