Hi all, there's a wonderful new 3d / system benchmark called CatZilla available for download in Beta. Link is here:

I am throwing a mini-comp based on it. The comp ends when 2012 is over in all the places (international date line's lagging side hits 2013, comp is over).
Tiger (1080p) only, if you don't have a tiger capable monitor... Sorry.

Highest score at the end of the year gets a voltmodded GeForce 7300 LE 128MB DDR2 GPU.

If you want to make thing easy on me, post your score with the SS and also your name/GPU/score like this:
Bobnova|GTX670|9947
That makes it really easy for me to add it to the leaderboard.

If ten or more scores are submitted, I'll throw in a Bonus Secret Random Draw Prize. Probably another GPU, maybe a stack of misc. CPUs, who knows. I certainly don't.

Those are the rules folks. I don't care how many GPUs, I don't care what CPU, I don't care what cooling.
If you find a cheat or what you think might be a cheat / tweak / score-raising-thing-that-isn't-just-clocks, please PM me the screenshot and a description, as a Beta benchmark finding cheats/etc. is a good thing, and helps everybody.

This competition is open to ALL Overclockers.com members.

So I downloaded and installed the bench. I can open up the launcher and play with the options, but it crashes just as soon as I start the run. It acts like the window is loosing focus and the windows kills it. Any ideas?

No clue on the crashing, I'd check the HWBot thread and see if anybody else has had issues. Did you install the extra stuff in the installer (C++ and I forget what)?

if thats a 7970 im seeing the same crazyness via cpu stuff.

but im breaking 10k still some wacko points going on. talked to bob about it a bit but no closer to understanding main score vs all other scores.

Err...figured it out. That rig is serving files up to the HTPC right now over the network, screwing everything up. Disregard; submission deleted.
