im new and need help pls!

Hello everyone. Im new to the forums. I have been having trouble overclocking my cpu. My computer specs are asus m5a97, 1100t amd black edition, 16 gb ddr3, 6970xfx. I have been trying all day to get a stable clock and cant get it. Im trying to get my cpu at 4.0 ghz. Does anyone have a similar setup as me? Pls help

Welcome to the forums Angel. I moved your thread to the AMD CPU section, as it will get more answers here than in the news team section where you had started it.

A 4.0 OC on the 1100T is doable. Can you open CPUz and take screenshots of the main tab, the motherboard tab, and the memory tab? This will give us a starting point from the settings you are currently running, so we can recommend what to try next.
