Question What is up with hardforum?

I been trying to make an account on hardforum for three days now, every time I make an account I get an email to active my account. then I am told I need to wait at an admin to active my account.ok, later I get an email saying my account does not meet the requirements of the forum, and the account has been removed. wut
I got that email three times now, then on the 4'th time I get an email from the admin saying "You do not meet the requirements of the forum."
OK, age filter ? no I am over 18. Well I tried two more times, both times my account is activated but banned upon logging in. So I emailed the admin last night, no word form him/her.
End of rant.

Edit.
I hope it's just a glitch in the system.

EDIT:2
I added the email the admin sent me, odd

It says no web based email in the rules thing. You probably could put in your isp email.

I tried that. and it say no yahoo or gmail.
still no word back from the admin. I'm just going to forget it, if they're stinging me along like this I'm betting the site sucks.

I bet it's a lot of trolling admins and mod's. mehh

Hard has some fine members. They run their forums oddly tho. I know more than a couple folks banned from there.

Weirdest thing they do, or at least did in the past, was mass delete forum threads. Like their older stuff, they would just delete a bunch of it. Always thought that was weird, because its stuff members put their time into.

your not missing any thing.

I got a no reason ban after 6 or so years and there was little activity on my account because the information i was getting here was way beyond any information i ever got at the hards. any question is met by a google troll or a ****** troll.

That was my thought exactly. You're much better just staying here.

HF might not be the best forum for technical discussion (although there IS a ton of content is you sift through enough garbage), they do have quite a good classified section which IMO, is worth it to be a member there.

Not sure if you are still trying but wanted t note that an isp email is provided by your isp (internet service provider) which is not yahoo or gmail.

THIS!

I go shopping on the classy's when I need something. Really cheap prices and always insane deals.

This place is better for tech discussion not so much for getting great deals :P

I actually found out about hardforum from doz lol. Sucks I do not have enough post to post in the classy section but I just pm people with heatware and my profile here and never have issues buying parts.

Over half my machine is from hard forum.
