Hey, welcome to OCF!

When trying to recommend a build to you, there's some information that's extremely helpful for us to know. If you could answer these few short questions, we'd be happy to help!

  • What are you planning to do with this compuer? Please be as specfic as possible.
  • What is your budget?
    1. Does this include a copy of Windows?
    2. Does this include peripheals (a keyboard, monitor, mouse, speakers, etc.)?
  • Do you have any specific requests with the build?
    1. Do you plan on overclocking? If yes, do you have a specific goal in mind?
    2. Would you prefer the build to be particularly small?
    3. Would you prefer the build to be particularly quiet?
    4. In general, do you prefer this to be a computer that you can spend money on now and let it rest, or a box built for continuous upgrading?
    5. Do you ever plan on utilizing NVIDIA's SLI or AMD's CrossfireX technologies? These features, with a compatible motherboard, allow a user to link multiple identical graphic cards together for added performance. In real world terms, this lets you buy a second identical graphics card down the line as a relatively cheap and easy way to gain a fairly large boost in performance. However, this requires buying a SLI/CFX compatible motherboard and PSU now, which may result in slightly higher initial cost.

Once again, thank you in advance for taking the time to answer these, and I hope you enjoy your stay at OCF! :)

And your question is.......
Had me do a double take too, I suppose OP is asking which of the given cards would be best. He didn't list system spec, budget and purpose, so it is certainly a real challenge to give him any sort of informed opinion.

At OP, of the listed cards, the GTX660 and HD7870 2gb are the fastest. Granted, the HD7870 is the costliest, but should come with two games which would help to defray its cost. Please let us know your system spec, include the power supply, and the types of games you are into.

sorry guys I forgot to post my question and configuration

What are you planning to do with this compuer?
Only gaming not really into overclocking (example : liquid setups and hardcore stuff)

What is your budget?

Frankly speaking this is for my cousin. he s a doctor by profession. so will game only 2-3hrs max a day. He wants to buy especially for crysis 3

not really expensive but high performance config for lets say another 2 years.

INR 60000 (around 1100 $)

Does this include a copy of Windows?

No (i ll get it separately )

Does this include peripheals (a keyboard, monitor, mouse, speakers, etc.)?

excluding display monitor, keyboard, mice and audio system.

Do you have any specific requests with the build?

please give links with indian websites as I will not be able to order from abroad.

Do you plan on overclocking? If yes, do you have a specific goal in mind?

If required lets say after 1 1/2 or 2 years, I will use overclocking for cpu and gpu. But till date I never have got into all this.

Would you prefer the build to be particularly small?

Not really

Would you prefer the build to be particularly quiet?

Noise levels are not something to worry in my case.

In general, do you prefer this to be a computer that you can spend money on now and let it rest, or a box built for continuous upgrading?

From what I have heard Single card solutions are better then sli or crossfire setups. So in my opinion I will always stick to a single card solution. Plus I am looking for a stable configuration with a healthy lifespan of 2-years. (upgrade is not an important requirement, but it is ok for considering future ready options too )

This is my current configuration

Motherboard: ASUS MAXIUMUS V GENE
Processor: intel i5 3570k
GPU: MSI R7850 POWER EDITION 2GB
RAM: GSKILL RIP JAWS 1600(2*4gb kit)
Power Supply: Corsair CMPSU – 700GS
Cabinet: Cooler Master HAF 912 Advanced Mid Tower
Hard-Disk: Seagate Barracuda 2 TB HDD Internal Hard Drive (ST200DM001) 6gb/s 64mb cache 7200rpm
Monitor: BenQ 24 inch LED - RL2450H
DVDRW: Asus DRW-24B3ST

The new build is for my cousin

Agree with Knufire about vid card choice, since you had indicated you want the system to last a good two years, a more powerful GPU would be better in the long run. The HD7850 is a great card, don't get me wrong, it is just that the HD7870 is even more powerful, obviously, and does come with a couple of new AAA games (same as the HD7850 I believe). The GTX660 is pretty powerful too, but comes with only virtual credit of sorts.....the AMD bundle is more bang for the buck.
