i'm looking at building a mini itx system and started looking into the components I picked out

the first link I checked for a review was a post on a forum about the boards catching fire with this combination, one person said that this chip is far to power hungry for a mini itx board and/or the airflow isn't good enough to cool the mosfets, anyone heard of this or know anything about it?

edit: I just like the idea of a small portable pc for this application, if theres a better form factor i'm open to suggestions, I can even give up the small form factor if needed

Just at first glance that doesn't surprise me the board doesn't have much of a power section and no heatsink. It says 100W support but I'd be iffy on that. Also any of the A10's I,ve seen on the forums tend to be quite hot to start with. So in a small case without adequate cooling I wouldn't be surprised if there have been a few meltdowns.

a10 5800k is a CPU, not a graphics card. The integrated GPU inside it does not run at the same clock speed as the CPU...
