Defragmentation?

Hey guys,

Ive just been doing a little spring cleaning of the computer (Cleaning the registry, temp files, ect), and remembered something ive never really done. De-fragment. Is this a good thing to run? Should I do this more often?

As long as it's not a SSD yes you should run it. If you are running windows 7 it is probably already taking care if it for you.

Should have googled an eta on a defrag.... Annnnnnnd there goes my gaming plans.

I always make a smaller partition, on the outer most layer of a platter drive, so defragment goes quickly.The best option for a gaming partition.
