Hi guys,

My build is so;

ASUS F1A75-V EVO
AMD A8 3870K 3Ghz (No OC)
Corsair 1866 DDR3 Memory (Serial: CMZ8GX3M2A1866C9)
60GB SSD

Since day one which has been a few months now the PC has been unstable even at stock settings (Except for memory). SPD rating on memory is 1333mhz but corsair Tested at 1866mhz so I always had the memory set to 1866 1.5v and not 1333.

Well after screwing around past couple days I decided to bring the memory down to 1333mhz 1.5v and the system seems stable according to intelburntest and prime95. Though it CAN be stable with the memory at 1866 as well but for some reason it still finds ways of crashing (BSOD) and rebooting in extreme cases. Minor cases are programs crashing. This is with no CPU or GPU OC'ing and everything set to AUTO. As soon as I bring the memory back to 1866, intelburntest and prime95 will usually fail and produce the unstable msg.

Am I using the wrong memory? I bought the ram on Amazon, they said it was compatible but when I received the ram it said AMD Phenom II, Intel i3,i5,i7

This could be why I can never get any stable OC for long periods of time of 3ghz. Even with temps around 50-55*C at 3.3ghz

I tried the both sticks of ram in channel 1 on MB and 1 stick in channel 1 and one in channel 2 same issues

Ok. So I have the Ram at 1600mhz JEDEC. the 1866Mhz seems it should be used with a XMP profile or something? not to knowledgeable about that. This system so far is running way more stable. CPU OC'ed to 3.3Ghz at 1.416 vcore and has been torture tested continuously with intelburntest for 6 hours so far and still going strong.

Seems I nailed down the problem but im just wondering why can't I use the ram at 1866mhz? My bios doesn't have an XMP option which I understand is for intel boards, could this be why?

At DDR3-1866 and 9-10-9-27 timings at 1.5V, you may need to bump the VDDNB voltage to compensate for the higher DRAM frequency. What were the STOP errors in the BSOD's?

This will be vague since it will take me forever to type everything. Any of this help?

Well I can only view the event log and all the critical errors are

Error: Kernel Power
EventID: 41
Category: 63

Multiple Instances of the following codes under EventID 41
BugCheckCode: 59
BugCheck Parameter1:0xc0000005
BCP2 & 3 are usually different
------------
BugCheckCode: 126
BugCheckParameter1:0xffffffffc0000005

BCP 2 & 3 usually different
------------------------
BugCheckCode: 30

Any logs I can get you to help? I don't get the BSODs anymore at 1600mhz
