So I found the files that I believe are the files I need to flash my BIOS but I want to make sure that I get everything correct here for when I try this because I don't want to flat line my MoBo... The files I found are for my AsRock 970 Extreme4 http://www.asrock.com/MB/overview.asp?cat=Download&os=BIOS&Model=970 Extreme4 I'm flashing so I can use my new cpu that I just ordered http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B009O7YU56/ref=oh_details_o00_s00_i01?ie=UTF8&psc=1 -- I checked on youtube on what to do and it seems like all I have to do is format a USB then put the files on there and restart my PC and just update it. It seems like a simple task but I want to double check with you guys on here so I know that there isn't any steps that would kill my MoBo that I missed.

EDIT:
I think my BIOS are actually already ok with this board considering I got a bit later then it's initial release
I think it's at 1.60, I don't know.

it looks like you extract the bios file to the usb flashdrive then use the instantflash under the advanced menu.
the flashdrive should be formatted as fat 16 and plugged into a usb 2.0 port.
