When I look at my MSI afterburner graph I can see that my two 7970's in Crossfire are each only running at about 40-50% capacity, and that's at the completion of a game. For instance BO2 or iRacing etc. And I remember when that wasn't so..at the completion of a game I could check the MSI graphs and see actual max usage numbers of 100%.
It just started recently. I had to reinstall my win 7 op sys which I did and now I see this apparent slow down. I've even again uninstalled and reinstalled the Catalyst 13.4 driver and it makes no difference. I used DriveSweeper and all etc.
Its not just the low usage numbers. The games are playing choppy and such. Even when I've got a fast connection/ping etc. I see it in every game I play..even LFD2..which I had at first thought were bad servers etc..but no its these low usage cards?
I could get out my diagnostics and run a bunch of bench marks etc. but really that won't solve the problem.
Any ideas why they keep running slow? Got plenty of 1200W power and such. Am I missing something? What is it?
