Just got an email from them saying that as of Today, they are shutting down operations.
Their shutting down is a product of the ecommerce landscape, and while they didn't explicitly say what that 1000 lb gorilla in the room was it was clear who, which I also won't name.
It's a result of capitalism, oh well. Honestly, I haven't bought anything from them in a long time.
I have bought from them items that you couldn't find on ebay or newegg, but eventually, ebay filled that market, at least for my needs.
geeks.com was the go-to for refurbished, odd-ball electronics back in the day.
