asrock ocformula bios settings not working?

Seems like no matter what I set in the bios it's not saving and the only way I'm able to overclock is via windows which sucks. Any ideas?

Checked the CMOS battery?

Updated bios?

Have you tried changing a basic feature (disable onboard audio or something?) Then saving?

Yeah I tried basic settings and nothing was working. Battery was good and cleared cmos so tried flashing the bios and that got it. It must have been a boot setting messed up?
