Hey guys!

Just joined this forum as I'm getting more into OC'ing and hardware configuration.

Anyway, I am thinking of overclocking my old Intel i7 930 @ 2,8 ghz(stock) processor and I'm wondering if you could help me figure out how to do it.

I have never overclocked a processor before so I would really need some help,

these are my specs:
EvGa GTX 680 2GB
Intel i7 930 @ 2,8 ghz(stock)
6GB Ram
Gigabyte x58a-ud3r motherboard

I have watched a servael of videos on overclocking and I am not sure what settings I should tune to.

If you know how to do this, please help me out :)

And by the way, what cooler do you recommend for this OC(4ghz)? I got a budget on 50-100$ and I want the best option possible :p

Cheers,

Luka
