Hi everyone

I am a complete beginner about water cooling
i had my rig for about a year and a half running on air cooling
recently i wanted to upgrade the gpu but unfortunately i cannot fit 2 gpu on my micro atx motherboard the only solution is to do watercooling
(plus the benefit of silence and looks :D)

so i have two main question first
i have currently a i5 2500k and planning to put 2 7950
i was wondering if one 120mm rad with a 240 would be enough?

the second one is about gpu waterblock
i saw the following
http://www.frozencpu.com/products/2...e_Design_Full_Coverage_Water_Block_15022.html

but couldnt find any list of gpu compatible

the two main gpu i am considering are
http://www.superbiiz.com/detail.php?name=AT-79503GB
and
http://www.superbiiz.com/detail.php?name=AT-7950VPX

i know the original heatkiller would not work however this one is sadi to fit fr non reference design so i was wondering

thanks a lot everyone

First of all welcome to OCF WC Section, i would humbly say go and read the WC Stickies first. Then try Google for reviews and parts that your looking at, i just did a very quick look and came up with this.

1, http://www.performance-pcs.com/cata...t_info&cPath=59_971_240_582&products_id=34383

It may help you or point you in the right direction so to speak!! But with all these WC Blocks for GPU cards is do they fit X Y Z etc, thats why you need to take your time and do loads of homework. Over several weeks or so.

As for the Radiators you should plan it 120.1 per Chip if i have that correct! And again its a matter of reading and research to find the correct Radiator that will fit the case plus work it out so you have the best possible Temps in the end.

So after all said and done i am afraid its loads of studying and Homework and reading Reviews to finally, put a parts list together that will work. ;)

AJ.

thanks a lot for your reply
i indeed try to google it unfortunately i am still unable to find anything about the Heatkiller GPU-X³ 79X0 non reference design i was just wondering if any users had use that specific waterblock and with which card

i will keep searching on google tho :)

Vulkan if you look at the post i did with performance pcs half way down the page the is a full list of Cards that is compatible. As for the one your looking for i would leave that to some of the other members to help you out.

AJ.
