Helped a friend pick parts for a budget-ish ($650) build. Everything's already ordered, so I can't really change anything, but if there's something I could have done different, I'm sure the knowledge will help on the next one :p

He'll be gaming (BF3/4) @ 1080P, doesn't want to overclock (non-K CPU), and had no parts to start off with.

CASE (Rosewill Galaxy) - $34
MOBO (MSI Z77A-G41) - $68
CPU (i5 3470) - $147
RAM (8GB 2133Mhz) - $54
SSD (Kingston V300) - $85
PSU (Corsair CX600) - $50
GPU (PowerColor 7950) - $204

The only thing I'm not sure on is the RAM. The mobo lists it as supported, but I've had problem with faster RAM on nicer motherboards, so we'll see what happens with that. I probably have an extra set of 1600Mhz if it doesn't work.

Thanks!

RAM shouldn't be a problem. Never had trouble clocking RAM with IVB, it's probably the most comprehensive CPUs with RAM.

Missing additional storage is all I can see. Good prices and nice rig.
