Just wondering if this PSU is good enough?

Hey guys here is my new PC build. I was just wondering if this power supply unit was good enough to power everything. I do plan to overclock the CPU too. The video card, mother board and SSD has already been purchase. I just wanted some input before I make the purchase on the psu. Thanks an advance.

A quality 550W PSU would be plenty for that setup, including overclocking.

You can also save some coin going with a lesser mobo... BUT you already made that purchase.

sorry about all the links. But in the detail section for the gpu it states that 600w psu or greater is needed. And you Earthdog state that 550w is would be plenty...kinda confuse here.

Those recommendations are not taking into account a quality PSU.

Overclocked GPU I managed 283W AT THE WALL. Let's add another 50W (high estimate) for overclocking that CPU to 4.5GHz...That is mid 300's at the wall

Other then the motherboard being a bit pricey and the psu being an overkill. Do you think it's a solid build. My CPU I got from mircocenter for $280.

I would have went Samsung 840 Pro or Evo... otherwise, solid.
