Should i upgrade my PSU or reuse my old one ?

my new PC specs

CPU: i7 4770k 3.50 socket 1150 ( planning to OC ! )
MOBO: ASUS maximus VI hero
RAM: Kingston HyperX 2400 ( 16 gb )
GPU: ASUS r9 280x or 7970 series ( Not bought GPU yet )
Corsair Hydro Series Liquid CPU Cooler ( Not bought yet )
1x SSD 2x HDD's
Cooler master case ( with 7x fans )
PSU: Corsair Memory 650W TX SERIES ATX



ok so here is my new gear... i am planning on OC'ing CPU for the first time... i am just a bit worried about my PSU


Should it be good to go ? or upgrade ?

It'll be fine. TX series were always pretty solid. And the wattage is way more than you'll hit. You'll be lucky to hit half that.

ahh thats very good news ! i already spent fortune on parts could really do with that extra money

Agreed 100% with Mjolnir.

It would probably even handle another GPU crossfired at stock settings

Would be pushing it though.
