SOLVED ALC898 Better than Creative Sound Blaster 5.1VX ?

I have a creative sound blaster 5.1VX Sound Card lying around from my old PC. I was thinking about putting it in my ASRock Z77 Extreme4, which has ALC898 Codec. Will the Creative be better than the 898? The latter is a modern high end codec while the Creative is a older low-end product. Any suggestions guys??

The 5.1vx is rated for 98dB SNR, while the ALC898 is rated for 110dB SNR. Don't bother with the sound card unless you have a use for a second set of inputs and outputs.
