Corsair HX850 Gold Top Mount?

Hi guys,

I'm looking to get a Corsair HX850 PSU for my setup but I currently have this mid-tower:

Would it be alright for the top mount for the time being until I upgrade to a full-tower?

Links dead, but yeah as long as all the cables are long enough. Top mount used to be the standard....

Thanks man! I was worried about the weight and length. I know I will have plenty of room, I'm just curious about the mounting strength.

Mounting strength is far higher than needed for PSUs.
Maybe if you put something like a CM 1500w thing in and then dropped the case from 10' a few times you could get it to tear loose. Other things would die first though

Don't worry about it. It's not that heavy, and the steel that the case is made out of is much stronger than we usually give it credit for.

Ooof that sounds good! Makes me feel better. I eventually plan on upgrading to a Rosewill Thor V2 case but atm, I'm looking to upgrade my GPU.
