Figured I might as well make a thread about this here as well. I've started filming a promo video for a Kickstarter campaign, and I'm shooting it in three different formats to determine which one would be the most practical given my time frame.
Normally these DSLRs shoot in compressed 8-bit H.264... but using Magic Lantern (a third party firmware-based software) these cameras can shoot in 14-bit uncompressed. (Something I've long suspected just about every camera of beind capable of doing...
So I wrote a little something about it.
