So i realized I left the rubber cover on my gtx 780, over the little SLI "fingers" because the card is solo, don't need the SLI connection.
Is it ok to leave or is it in danger of melting onto the fingers?
I can always pop open the panel and pull it off if it's necessary to remove - slight oversight on my part.

Here's a pic of the fingers I'm referring to.

I would leave it on. If it wasn't stay to leave there, they either wouldve notated to remove it in the instructions or not put it on to start.

youll be fine.
