Athlon 1.1

I currently have an athlon 850 (not o/c yet) and found a good deal on a 1.1 athlon ($65 shipped). My motherboard can only go up to 1.4 (A-bit KT7-RAID). I am trying to figure out if upgrading to 1.1 would give me a noticeable speed difference assuming I overclocked both for at least another 100 mhz or so. I recently invested in a glaciator and will not be moving to H2O.

I don't think you would see a huge difference. I hardly saw one from a Duron 700 to a Tbird 1.2. Unfortunately, the Tbird 1.1 has a bad history of being a bad overclocker. I would try to find a 1gig or even a 1.2.
