What's the cheapest vid card that is capable of maintaining a steady 120fps at 1024X768 in Quake 3 tweaked for maximum visibility (vertex lightning, r_picmip 5 etc.).
What's the cheapest (but still ok quality) 19" monitor that is capable of 120hz refresh rate at 1024x768? What's the cheapest flat tube monitor capable of the same?

with your system in your sig? id say a geforce3 Ti200 for about 130$......

cant help you with the monitor though...

I know I won't get those frame rates with this CPU regardless of the gfx card, but I thought later, if I get a Duron Morgan and overclock it all I can.

well if you had like a 1.2-1.4 GHZ computer even a geforce2 Ti or a Radeon7500 could easily do that for around 70-80$ and a geforce3 can do it with the Athlon too probably QuakeIII isnt exactly the newest game its not tht hard on video cards...
