how long does artic silver 3 take to set (to reduce temps)... is there any way to make the process quicker?

I heard (from somebody here) it takes 72 hours to settle and the sort. I don't know for sure, though. I think you can try www.articsilver.com, they migth have something.

Their site says 72 hours, I notice temperature drops after 1 day and they usualy stop falling after 2-3days. the best way to speed things up is to run them at 100%. (the higher the temperatures the faster it will set)

I just reapplied my AS2 today, so I'll let you all know what kind of drop I get over the next 3 days. I didn't get much the first time around so I made sure I got a really thin layer this time.

nahh, the air conditioner must have clicked on before he took the second reading. I have never had more than 5c and I bet it was partialy from the ambient room temp being different.
