Talking Overclocking Results

Right On!

I got my Athalon 1.4GHz running at a smooth 1575. Not too hot either; only 35C. Attached is the MBM dash.

Would you please do a quick reply as to what speed you have your 1.4GHz running? Can I break the 1600 mark with water-cooling only?

Thanks for all your help,
BJL

I'm not currently using a tbird 1.4 but your temps seem good so I would keep pushing and as long as nothing is holding you back ie. ram you should be able to hit 1600 pretty easily. Upping the vcore more could help also. Good Luck!

For sure it can with some of the new, hot clocking KT333 based motherboards paired up with some fast pc2700 ram and you wont have to run the vcore up too high either. It all gets down to how much you want to spend to get that inexpensive CPU up into the 1800s.

Popped my 1.4 into an 8KHA+, air-cooled(Millenium Glaciator 2), and with absolutely no tweaking got to 1600 w/the multiplier. Just got it put together the other day, so I haven't even played with the FSB yet, so I am pretty encouraged about how far I can get.
