overclock help


Have a Leadtek Nvidia GeForce3 Ti 200 128mb
what do i need to overclock this tinker toy... or what setting should i use.
on a p4 1.8 ty much

Get "coolbits," it's a registry hack that allows you to use the Nvidia tweaking system built in.

*OR*

You can add it manually. Go to run and type in regedit. Go to this key HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\NVIDIA Corporation\Global\NVTweak, and add a new DWORD value named coolbits. Now set the value to 3.

You should be all set after that. Maybe some extra cooling could help.

I believe that leadtek card comes with an overclocking utility called speed runner.
