If PIII99 fried, should get 1Ghz?

It seems the socket tab on my CUSL2-C broke off last night. IF the CPU is dead, how well does the PIII1000mhz 100fsb cpu overclock? I previously had the PIII933 @ 1080 with default vcore. Or should I just get the piii933 again?

I'd go with the 1 GHz personally. SInce you are only OCing with the FSB might as well get the highest multiplier ya can. Just my opinoin though.
