XP Pro or 2k?

Hi, Iím looking for an os for my new pc Iím working on. I already have 98 and XP home (which I really like), but I want to try something else for this one like XP pro or 2k. Which one is best for just normal stuff like playing games, editing pics and movies and that kind of thing?

If you really like XP Home Edition, you might as well go to the Professional Edition! I like WinXP Pro and runs everything and anything.

If you are looking to game on the system, that would actually be the main choosing point. Win 2k and XP are matched in regards to most of the rest. The thing is that win 2k cannot run some games that XP can. Another poi9nt in XPs favor is the UI is improved, and since you've gotten used to home's interface, that would be my reccomendation
