need help with Windows Install.

OK I have my Original Windows install cd, but I cannot find the galldarn serial number that the install program will ask me to put in. How do I recover this? The software was originally installed on a computer that has since been used to test the hardness of the cement slab below a 5th story window. IT ****ed me off and I kinda lost my temper..... Ow I am trying to installit on a old laptop that I got, but I kinda need the key....

I did. In fact Im on the phone with them right now. been on hold for the last 43 mins. Customer service my a$$!

never mind. I finally got to talk to some one in MS and they got me a new Product Key.
