Should I update or shouldn't I?

Hey everyone,

I was wondering what everyone thinks about running windows update on XP Professional? I ran the update and it showed that I should install like a dozen patches. My computer is running fine since I built it 2 weeks ago. (knock on wood). Should I tempt fate? or leave it be and live happily?

Since most of the updates so far have been to fix security problems I would go ahead and update. There were lots of holes in xp for hackers to get in so if that is a concern you need the updates.
