2k event log

when i look at my event log to see what's causing my bsods i see that "disk" and "removable storage device" are the main culprits. now that i know that, what can i do about them to stop the bsods?

Try replacing your disk controllers. That might work.

Just uninstall them and reboot, and Windows *should* pick them back up and re-install them.

ide cables are always secure and i'd prefer something a little more "full proof" oni. i'll try it as a last ditch resort.

Could you post here an EXACT code and text of your error.log records? That could clarify things...

My favorite site for finding out what the various codes do in the event viewer and links for solutions is this place, eventid.net .
