Cool New ATI Drivers dated May 9 (MS certified)

drivers dated may 9 2002, version 6071

I just tried out the new ATI drivers on my ATI AIW Radeon 8500DV and it brought my 3dmark 2001se score up to 7540 (from 7300)!!!! They are available on the ATI site and they are digitally signed by microsoft. These drivers seem pretty sweet, i'll try 'em out in UT, Quake and some other games and post back with results.

EDIT: They seem a little faster in UT (maybe 2-4 FPS on average) and quite a bit faster in Quake 3. Quake and Half Life ran OK but im having some issues with another Open GL game, might be unrelated. All in all I like these drivers, try 'em out if you haven't already (I think these drivers were leaked a while ago but ATI just officially released them yesterday)

Thanks man, I just dl'ed them and they seem to work fine on my 32mb ddr Radeon. The last set of ATI drivers worked good too, but these seem to run Motocross Madness 2 a bit faster than the old drivers did. About a 2-3 fps improvement.

Uh . . . I've actually been running those for about 3 weeks.
