strange beep

Hi there, i have my P4 1.6A at 2415 mhz at FSB 151 mhz on a asus P4B266-c
and everything is totally stable. My memory frequency is at normal and i'm
on turbo 1 setting. The cpu is at 1.7 volt . When the system is running I
got sometimes a short beep but the temp of the cpu is at 32 idle. CAn you
help with this one? Thanks

I've got em too!

Hi,

I get these strange short beeps too...I have no clue as to why they occur...

Though it happens only when I push my 1.6A over 140FSB...otherwise at 133MHz it is okay..

Hmmm I'll keep my ears open for this 'beep' sound you guys are getting. I've a P4B266, not the -C etc and my FSB is 144 but my ram settings are 2-2-2-6 with turbo1 enabled. The CPU idle temp. is 30C and full load is 41C. I use P4B266's onboard sound, never gives problems, it works great in games like MOH:AA and Jedi Knight II.

Oh my god I thought I was going nuts!

Yeah I get that damn beeping too, I've got the C version motherboard. It's really annoying, and I'd love to know waht's causing it.

Does not freeze. No other symptoms.

I got it guys, put a little more voltage on my cpu(from 1.70 to 1.725) and no more beeps Yeah
