I went ahead and flashed over to it. I like it.

I was stuck at the ECS 133/133, but now I'm at 150/150 at CAS2 on my Crucial SDRAM.

I got my 3dmark2k1 scores from 6589 to 7280

My Sandra scores went as follows:

CPU - 3299/1640 to 3728/1853
MMX - 6557/7251 to 7409/8193
MEM - 1010/1005 to 1150/1148

So thats pretty good. Things seem stable at 150, but I couldn't run at 143 or 147. Does a divider kick in above 147 or something?

Anyway, we'll see how it goes...I'm only running a 300w Enermax on this rig, so it might need some more juice...

I must say, I know this is the ECS section and all...but I still love my A7V. My A7V, which is a KT133 would allow so many more tweaks that I could get a better 3dmark score with this same CPU than on the ECS. And that was at 107fsb...

Not a fault of the board though...just that the ECS Bios is missing alot of tweaking options...I'm not complaining much though, I still love these boards.

Oh well, off to redownload powerstrip and oc my AIW a bit...

Glad to hear you're running stable at 150fsb.

Same here, running super stable at 150fsb.
The pci divider at 150fsb is 1/5 so we're at 30mhz while at 143 & 147 the pci divider is 1/4 so it will be higher. I also experience an occasional lock up at 143 & 147.

Good luck.

I already gave you this answer in my PM reply but I switch between aminf329 and aminf332.

I used amin332 and it worked fine...never tried the other one though.

I used powerstrip and oc'd my 8500 AIW, got my 3dmark2001 up to 7500. A healthy 1000 point increase!

Still miss the tweaking options other boards have...but in a sense this is more fun b/c its not quite a factory bios.

Just wish we could change multipliers...my cpu is unlocked...

Anyway, I was dismayed to see the AIW 8500 had a memory clock of 190...I thought it was 230 default for the AIW...I guess I'll have to figure out whats up with that...

I only got it to 210mem...but no ramsinks. I'm gonna redo all the cooling on that board probably during the week when I find the time.

I seriously don't recall seeing the AIW having a 190 mem clock...but thats another question for another forum page...
