Is it possible to mod the radeon 8500 to the Fire GL 8800?

Radeon 8500 mod

anything is possible....
but in this case not feasable....
take a look at pic's of each card if they apear similar it might be possible to pull off the mod, but with my past experience with ati they change gpu(s) nearly every generation of cards... ex ati radeon 7500 can't be modded into an 8500 because of the different gpu(s). Also why would you wanna use firegl anyway (arent they for cad/3dmodeling?) ???

i was just interested in seeing to get a 8500 for the sole purpose of turning around and skyrocketing my comps price for when i want to sell it, i modded my gf2Ultra to a Quadro 2 pro and was giving thought on buying a gf4 ti4600 just to make it a quadro 4. Ill see if it is actually possible first by reading around then ill decide.
