Question Any Aopen boarders out ther?

Looking to upgrade my cpu to an Xp, and i checked Aopens site and it says "Following PCB/Eng Version is not recommended AMD XP+ for AK73 pro(A) :77 73 75 71 79 7A 7B 7C 7D 7E 37 33 35 31 39 3A 3B 3C 3D 3E 57 53 55 51 59 5A 5B 5C 5D 5E 17 13 97 93"

Really that don't tell me anything! Does anyone know what this means or how to find out?

Hey I'm using an AK77 PRO A and I love it. I have an XP in it and exept for the co-processer burning up on it (bad chip) I have not had a problem. Go to AMD's site and see if your borad is good to use an XP. as far as what that is in your post I haven't a clue. Sorry. Good luck in you hunt.

Athlon XP

The XP is an Athlon. It's there because I checked when I was doing the research for my computer. It is by the processer you want to use. It is easy to get lossed. have fun and look hard some stuf is hard to find

Ya I haven't a clue as to what those numbers are. Aopen should beable to help. At least I hope ;-). It is nice to have someone else here that is using aopen. I like my board. I have had no problems if it and i have done so mild overclocking. I am waiting for my AX-7 and AS2 before i start to push my luck. Knock on wood. If you ever need some more help or just want to talk you can PM me or email me. bye
