Currently have PIII700 @933. I plan to upgrade to P4 Northwood, probably 1.6A.
I was waiting for the new 850E boards to come out but from what I've read not all manufacturers are going to offer a board based on this chipset.
With this in mind, I have been leaning toward the TH7II raid.
I have also read that some boards have better clock generators than others. I guess my questions are:

1. Has this board been out long enough to ensure that I would
get one with the 'good' generators?

2. Any possibility of the new boards driving current prices down?

I would probably only want to overclock to 133fsb/1066 memory.

Thanks.

Yes, the TH7-II you buy now should have the clock generators that will handle 533 MHz (133 FSB), if you order from a high volume retailer like newegg.com or similar. About prices... who knows? If you plan on only overclocking to 133 FSB, then the Northwood 1.8a might be a better choice and will yield 2.4 gig (18X133=2400).

batboy, That's good to know- I was considering Newegg as a source.

Thanks.
