Best Way to Backup for Raid0

Hello everybody.

I just bought a second 30gb 7200 WD drive just like my current one to make a raid0 setup. I was just wandering what the best way to back up the data on my current drive is and how. I have norton ghost but I can't seem to figure it out. I'm not that retarded but everytime I try to figure it out I feel that way. I also have NERO which has a burn to disk backup feature, would that work?

If NERO, which I once tried to use, how do you kill all the programs so it says that the drive isn't active or is this even possible without a partition.

Thanks to all those raid and HD experts out there

best backup for IDE RAID arrays is Drive Image by Powerquest...new version allows you to use it in windows instead of DOS....take a look @ it...

You don't want to use Nero. It works by backing up every byte on your hard drive, even the unused ones. Takes a LOT of CD's, unless you have a really small hard drive.

Yeah, I learned that one the harder way. Good thing I got 100 spinx's for 5 bucks. I only wasted ummm, 30? Kick, Kick, Kick. I need to read things more carefully but hey, my drive image 4.0 is on the way and I shail be sitting pretty with my 9 disc base backup. Thanks a lot.
