Backup in win2000

I'm trying to backup my system in windows 2000 but it wont write to the plextor says e:drive not valid?? I can burn cd and do everthing else on that drive....If i choose d: 2nd hdd its ok or a: fdd it works. Any ideas?

Try fireing up a "use a recordable cd as a floppy drive" type software.

here is a thread from the storage forum about some software like that.

then try using the same method to back it up again.

OR, go get software that supports CD-burning as a way of backing up data.

Easy CD Creator 5 Platnum has an option that does that. I believe it's called Take Two.
