PIII 512K cache

how are these performing?

they are a bit expensive.

I am looking at getting an ST6 board and maybe a cel-T with 256K because of cost.

Very good, even with SDR. Although even though it's pricey, these things do more clock cycles than the P4 so it would feel like it's faster and responding much quicker. The 512K helps abit.
