should my heat sink be hot?

i have a 1800 xp amd over clocked to 1575 i know sad..

its somthing thou i dont know.. anyone know where i can find information on cpu mutiplier to see what i can do? please? cpu mutifplier or maybe the voloate or vcore should be thanks..

I am sure it is different with heatpipes but my XP1800@1605 (damn WD400BB ) gets the glaciator pretty hot.

it should be slightly warmer than air temperature. However, it's very possible that it will feel cold to the touch, since the body temp is around 98F.

up the core voltage maybe .05 from stock

leave multiplier the same as stock (11X)

and just use the FSB to overclock
