5v line and amps

5v line and amps


hello all, ok i have a linksys hub that i dont have a power adapter for. the back says it needs 5v/1.5a

would it be safe for the hub to connect it to m 5v psu line?

is it ac or dc?? if it dc yup it will power up ur hub. but ar u sure u want to put and extra 1.5 amp strain on ur 5 volt line?? not really advisable if u want stability

i have a enermax 350w with not too much on it, it's either that or buy an expensive adapter.

yes, it's dc voltage.

yah u should be able too. but 1.5 amps is alot to drain from the 5 volt line
