I Know this is a really stupid questionm but if i turn off the pc and unplug it (I need to do some work on psu fan) is it safe to touch around, will i get still get shocked by capacitors? I need to fix fan in the psu but after the getting shocked horror sotries I'm scared to go close to it.

pull the plug, wait about 15 min just to be safe, then you should be fine. there are resisters in the psu that slowly drain the caps, so in a short time you *should* be fine... just to be on the safe side, don't go feeling around for the leds to the caps, etc. basically as long as you are carful, you will be fine.

I've found that with the big caps in my Sparkle psu, it's best to unplug it, and hit the power button. The LED's will flash for a second, and the relay for my pump will also trip for a second, so power is certainly being stored somewhere.
Try this, and then wait the above recommended 15 minutes.

Ive taken electronics in school, and I know that your body has a natrual 50 volt resistance and what they said above is correct. just don't put the pcb board down on metal if u take it out of its case or BOOM

try what diggrr said to try, i guess it depends on the mobo, when i unplug mine, the +5sb led on the mobo stays on, and the mouse and keyboard, the led's on those stay on for a few seconds, then they turn off, so i guess on some mobo's drain it right away, some don't...
but yeah, the bigest thing is just be careful, and you will be fine.
