1/5 th divisor not working?

1/5 th divisor not working?


I have a Kx7 raid and have the fsb @ 172 and sandra is reporting 1/4 divisor(43 mhz) even with it set in the bios to 1/5th wtf gives !!!I thought this would bring my Pci back toward the 30's

Asides from knowing Sandra has errors with reading the KT333 chipset, take some screen shots of Sandra showing your AGP & PCI Bus Speeds just in case it can see something else. Look under Mainboard Information.

Kinda reminds me of that big old divider debate with the Epox 8KHA+.
Sandra wasn't seeing the 1/5 divider there either. You can't always trust software, but since you are running a stable 172 FSB, then you should feel safe that it is working fine.

How about testing the PCI slots? Running at high FSB & having your PCI devices run has more issues to be resolved than just divider availability.
