Question Can I make a Tualatin work in a CUSL2-C BP?

Im fairly new to o/c, and I was wondering if it is possible to stick a tualatin celeron in my Asus CUSL2-C BP. I know it does not officially support those core's, but it seems from reading, that running a tualatin @ 1.65 volts will not smoke it. Since 1.65 is the lowest voltage I can achieve, do I need to do a volt mod to the chip to make it work or not? and if so which pins do I need to connect? Any knowledge on this will be helpful, Thanks!

Yes you can... i have one... and it works great... rock stable... and its recognized properly even without the tweaked bios. I sent you a PM regarding the information... there's a thread about that topic here but there's 700+ replies so its a little confusing. good luck!

*EDIT* Actually enable your PM so i could send it to you...

ha! you thought that was bad take a look at the thread in this forum... over 700 replies...

Ok here is the original thread that CATCH22ATPLAY started... i believe that he is also here at the forums and he was able to run a 1.2A @ 133FSB ... this is HIS way of doing the mod and it was the easiest i could find and the most understandable... it worked for me first time out... and for those of you who intend to blame me or anyone else if something goes wrong... that thread is proof that there is a pretty good success rate and if it doesn't work it's your fault... hahaha... jk.

Here is a picture of what you're supposed to do...

The red pins (AN3, AJ3, AK4) are the ones you are supposed to isolate... coat them with nail polish or cut them off its your choice. I personally cut them off since it probably won't work if you just coat them. The blue line over the 4 pins mean you're supposed to connect them all together... wire wrap them and make sure you wire wrap it good other wise your voltage would be giving you inconsistencies from time to time.

Here are some actual pictures of the someone who did the mod from that same thread... CLICK HERE

In other parts of the thread there are other ways to do the mod but i found this the easiest way (credit to CATCH22ATPLAY)... also... if you have a slocket... i don't know what to do... but it's basically the same idea. Go read the original thread because some people did it there and i did not really pay attention to how people with slot 1s did this mod. I hope i didn't make this into another "Make a Tualatin work without Powerleap" thread as that one already exists here. If you guys have anymore questions just PM me... good luck! By the way... my cpu still idles at 42c ... rock stable though. Egh.
