Post your best STOCK OVERCLOCK for the 4400 and 4600

the time will soon be upon me to choose between the two and then decide on brand. So I guess one way to guage what I will buy is through seeing how successfull people are with OCing the ti 4400 and 4600 straight out of the box (no mods). I'll cross that with what brand has the goodies I want/need and make a decision. Thanks guys!

Someone please start with typical mem/core clock speeds, I've read they can vary. Mem timing too? 3.5ns memory etc?

Why not just wait for the NV30's? It will be worth the wait, i'm sure. From the .inf files of the 29.42 drivers, they appear to be right around the corner. I, personally, am waiting for the NV30's.

With an 80mm fan blowing on from the side and stock heatsink, no ramsinks, i got my eVGA card to 300/700. Without the fan it would only do 300/600.

I had my first Visiontek Geforce4 Ti4600 up to 320/725 with the Nvidia reference design cooler.

(Enter leak in waterblock and exit Geforce4)
(Enter new Geforce4 due to inept sales staff at CompUSA and a liberal exchange/production protection plan)

Now, my new VT Geforce4 Ti4600 will run up to 325/740 but it's got a different cooler on it -- a little blue orb looking thing -- it seems that VT changed the cooler design after the initial batch of cards.

I helped a friend with his PNY Verto 4600(My idea, see below). A few weeks before this he stole my girlfriend, so this was the perfect oppurtunity. Told him to get this card and I'd help him tweak it. Got it to run stable at 320/720. Then when he wasn't around, pushed it to 340/760, then told I had to go home. Next day he says his computer crashed like crazy. Tried to send it back, since it was under warranty, but the PNY people said no because after examinig it they found it was OC'ed. No new card no refund. Burnt his AGP slot, too. God I feel good.

THe Gainward cards have always caught my eye. I'm also thinking the new copper thermaltake HSF for the gf4 will help these scores go up a touch too..

still curious about these nv30 rumors

whenever the hammers finally come out I assume they'll be 8x agp. My kt333 only supports 4x at the moment I think (MSI KT3 ULTRA ARU), but if I buy a 4400 or 4600 I wouldn't get another card for a long while. Do all, or any, gf4 cards support agp 8x? will the hammer? I think I've seen some of the kt400 setups read as supporting 8x. If all gf4's are only 4x I might just consider saving my pennies :-)

Keep posting the clock speeds, thanks guys!

I have the card in my sig. I can overclock it to 340/730, but its no good really, as DirectX keeps messing around (not because of the over clock).

LOL! Look just above that!

Gainward Golden Sample GeForce4 ti 4600 Model Ultra/750 XP blah blah blah, the full title is too darn long!

Uh oh... Summats wrong... I can only get it to 332/707 (I was doing a bit of testing)... Ah well, Its not off from what I said! Got me over 10,000 3DMarks no problem! Shame my XP1700+ is slowing me down...
