Currently running a 6BA+IV with a 3D Prophet DDR-DVI (runs xint) . Trying to upgrade my video to a GF2/ PRO / ULTRA and have tried 3 cards so (Visiontek Ultra / 3D Prophet 2 Pro / Leadtek GTS2 Pro , far with NO luck at all in 3D gaming with ANY of these cards . The Visiontek Ultra did not even post , the 3D Prophet 2 Pro and Leadtek GTS2 Pro ,BOTH run in 2d fine but will not run in 3D gamming (monitor screen goes "blank" at start of ANY 3D game) . **** I did read a while back about GF2's having problems with running on some ABIT , Soyo and Asus m/boards due to a wrong "power pin" placement on the GF2's; or that GF2's will not run on a AGP 1.0 slot (can not find article again ). My question to ANY Soyo 6BA+IV owner .... do you have a GF2 or better video card running on this m/board ??? (Damn , I feel another m/board upgrade comming) . Too keep this shorter ; YES I have tried MOST , if NOT " everything" to get a GF2+ card run on the board ; bios upgrades , lower bus settings ,etc ...) **** My basic system specs : PIII 700@ 1050 (cCO) w /1.78 volt , IBM GXP75 (30 gig) , 256 Crucial PC133 , Win98SE , DET 650/11.01's (11.01's current) .

Gee, I upgraded from a Guillemot/Hercules 3D Prophet DDR-DVI to my Leadtek WinFast GeForce2 GTS with no problems. It runs great: 8053 in 3DMark2000 and 3484 in 3DMark2001. It O/C'ed to 245/400 with the FSB at 142 MHz.

I'm running a PIII 700 cB0 FC-PGA at 994 MHz on my Soyo SY-6BA+IV. I can run Q3 or Unreal Tournament all day with no problems. I also run Combat Flight Simulator 2 with no problems either. All I can suggest is that you check your BIOS settings. BTW, I'm running the 10.80 drivers.
