How to tell single bank from double bank??

Other than coming right out and saying so in the product description, is there a way to tell single bank DDR from double bank DDR...? (without pictures as well) I need to find 512MB single bank..

You have to know the memory specs.
You can't tell by looking, even memory with chips on just one side of the stick can and often does use two banks.
