1.49 mini for voodoo3's ?

Found this driver and want to know if anybody has tried it.I am using the 1.48 now ,any dif here? It's a miniexe to install this which I have only seen with the wicked drivers so is this normal to have an exe like this to install a mini driver? Also I did try the wicked's and got 2 fps less in q2 crusher demo.
